By now, Democrats are well known to bend rules when it comes to one of their own. Consistency and integrity are foreign concepts to them.
Joe Biden is a major Democrat who is expected to enter the 2020 presidential election race. In fact, he is currently leading the polls, with most Democratic voters saying they would vote for him in the primaries. However, in the past few days, there have been two allegations of sexual assault against him, but House leader Nancy Pelosi does not believe the allegations are a big deal.
When reporters asked if she believes the allegations should disqualify Biden from the presidential race, Pelosi said:
“No. No, I do not. I don’t think that this disqualifies him from being president. Not at all.”
During the confirmation hearings of Justice Kavanaugh last year, Pelosi was one of the most vocal Democrats who demonized him without any proof. After Kavanaugh’s confirmation, Pelosi said in a statement:
“Today is a profoundly heart-breaking day for women, girls and families across America. Courageous women risked their safety and well-being to speak truth about this nomination. Tens of thousands more joined them to share their own harrowing stories of sexual assault, at great personal risk. Yet, Senate Republicans chose to send a clear message to all women: do not speak out, and if you do – do not expect to be heard, believed or respected.”
I can smell her hypocritical stench from here. She accused Senate Republicans of not respecting women when they confirmed Kavanaugh. But is she respecting women by indirectly endorsing Biden whom two women have accused of sexual assault? Besides, Biden’s accusers have more proof than that lying Dr. Christine Ford.
It is clear that Democrats should never be taken seriously. Most of them are hopeless chameleons that should be removed from every office of government.
