CNN President Insults Fox News Journalists

CNN’s President, Jeff Zucker, berated employees of Fox News during a Q&A with Vanity Fair media. In reference to some top Journalists at Fox, Zucker said, “They chose to work at Fox and they don’t get to hide behind the fact that they’re excellent journalists or anchors. The fact is they work at a place that has done tremendous damage to this country.”

Zucker later went on to call Fox an instrument for “propaganda” and then he put forward a question. “Is Fox state-run TV or is the White House state-run government by Fox TV?”

This development comes after the Democratic National Committee banned Fox News from the 2020 Debates. Concerning the ban, Zucker said, “I don’t think anyone has the right or obligation to give an outlet a debate. There’s no obligation to give one [debate] to Fox.”

Fox News is widely seen as a conservative media outlet that often shows support for the Trump administration. But some top Journalists at Fox, such as Julie Banderas, have been vocal critics of the president’s actions. Calling Fox News a “propaganda” outlet makes no sense, especially coming from the head of a neo-liberal media organization such as CNN.
